BNP Paribas
Head of CIB Company Engagement & Global Markets Chief Sustainability Officer
Constance Chalchat is the Head of CIB Company Engagement, Global Markets Chief Sustainability Officer and is a member of the CIB Executive Committee.

Constance is responsible for Company Engagement, Sustainable Finance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Strategic Marketing & Communication within CIB. As environmental and societal issues are at the core of BNP Paribas’s strategy, CIB Company Engagement’s mission is to work closely with all of CIB business lines and functions in order to accelerate its sustainable finance activities, as well as partnering with Human Resources to promote diversity and inclusion, drivers of engagement within the company.

”Our customers are our priority, and an increasing number of companies and institutional investors are expressing a desire to contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. We strongly believe that these sustainability goals make sense not only from an ethical point of view, but also from an economic one. They will create long-term value for everyone – clients, investors, partners, employees and civil society – while strengthening our ties and increasing our revenues,” Constance explains.
